Hotshot attorney Jimmy Hughes prides himself on never backing down from a dare. When he is dared into running for mayor on the Reform ticket, he mounts an aggressive campaign. Only one problem: the incumbent mayor is the father of Jimmy's sweetheart. Before unentangling this problem, he manages to rescue the incumbent mayor from a contingent of graft-grabbing cronies.
